Competency generated

Therapist who completes this course will be eligible to practice under an Ayurveda or Siddha doctor.


(a) Any individual aged 16 and above with minimum qualification of 10th standard pass.

(b) Any individual with three years of independent experience (a certificate given by Village officer or Panchayat President must be produced) in Traditional Medicine or Folk Healing Practice and age above 21.

  • Practice of Varmam therapy, its resource base, its theory of life energy, Saram, benefits of stimulation, whether cure is available or not, duration within which cure is available, the procedure for relieving a trauma, traumatology caused on an injured varmam location, analyse through symptoms the varmam that has been affected. Relieving techniques for the same.

  • Major Varmam locations, Adangals, Applied system for healing, procedures, Dos and Donts for healing. Protecting self while healing. Pros and Cons of Varmam.

The country has 7.37 lakh practitioners of alternative medicine streams like Ayurveda, Siddha, Homeopathy and Unani registered with the AYUSH Ministry and over 3,600 AYUSH hospitals, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for AYUSH Shripad Yesso Naik said that as per his Ministry, there are 47,683 Unani, 8,173 Siddha and 1,764 Naturopathy practitioners registered in the country. 3,601 AYUSH hospitals, including 2,827 Ayurvedic, 252 Unani, 264 Siddha and 216 Homeopathic operating across the country. The number of AYUSH dispensaries in the country added up to 25,492 of which 15,520 were Ayurvedic, 7,439 Homeopathic and 1,453 Nani dispensaries.

    Yes the VKRC will help you start your own therpy center under partnership Ayushy Doctor at your place. We will guide you every step to setup your own therapy center.
  • How much is the fees, and what will you provide?"
    The total fees for this program exclusing intrenship will be 55,500/- This fees includes. Course Books Practicals resource like oil,spread. etc. Twin Sharing rooms to stay. Finished Certificate and Marksheet.
  • I am from bangalore, Can I travel back home every day during contact class?"
    Our course begins a bit early and ends a little late, and we also intend to build a community, which will happen when you all come together.
